absolute NOOB question about Talkgroups
Question::
I got my radio today. Did a codeplug, loaded the radio. It works!
Using the DMR-MARC repeater map, I can click to see what talkgroups are in the repeater.
QUESTION: Can I talk on talkgroups that are not listed in the repeater?
If I wanted to talk on the local Dayton, Ohio talkgroup (which is NOT in the London, Ontario repeater), can I simply add the Call Group ##### to my radio and talk via the repeater?
OR, are the 14 talkgroups already configured the only groups I can access via that repeater?
Answer :
Only TG listed on your repeater can be used
